Most local people will be aware of the recent purchase of some of the North Weald Airfield by Google for the purpose of building a data centre.
Google are now running a public consultation that will run until the middle of August.
If you have questions or concerns, for or against it - it is important you have your say.
There are two local meetings that are being held with little notification, but you can take part in the consultation online. Visit their website www.northwealddatacentre.co.uk
and there is a prompt for a password which is Google.
FULLY FUNDED HGV LICENCE TRAINING
For anybody who would like to obtain their Class 1 & 2, HIAB & Forklift, CPC & ADR Licences, now is the time to learn these skills as they are being fully funded by Essex County Council and in collaboration with EFDC.
You have to be over 19, and live certains districts including Harlow and Epping Forest.
You have to earn less than £35,000 a year and have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
You must commit to complete the training and examinations.

Summer Fayre - St Clare Hospice
This Saturday 13th July, why not visit St Clare Hospice and enjoy their summer fayre and raise funds for this local hospice.
It will be open from 11am - 4[m They have lots of fun, food and local stalls.
Entry is £3.00 per adult. Kids under 16 go free.
