Epping Library Move

At a recent  Epping Forest District Cabinet meeting, Councillors heard how Essex County Council (ECC) and Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) are exploring options to bring Epping Library services to the council offices in Epping.

The library services will be a welcome addition to the Epping Community Hub already located in the civic offices.

New Sensory Garden launched

A new sensory garden was officially opened recently.

The sensory garden is based on Weald Common within Eldridge Wood, next to the children's play area.

There are also four benches placed in the area, one bench has been designed to depict all aspects of our heritage.

The area was initially designed to create a dementia friendly space, but Chairman of the North Weald Parish Council, Alan Buckley, has said he hopes this is used and enjoyed by the community.
