North Weald Market Chaos

People flocked to the North Weald market during the weekend including the early bank holiday in May.

Residents had their cars blocked in, queues of traffic prevented residents from leaving their homes or returning to their homes during the day.

Areas of grassland including the War Memorial were parked on by anyone and everyone in an attempt to avoid the hour long queues to get into the actual market.

Residents were sworn ot by visitors to the market when they were asked to move from drives and raods so they could access their property.

The rubbish left behind in the village after the crowds left was unexcusable.

Residents are now calling for action from Saunders Markets and Epping Forest District Council to stop this from happening an dhelp support local residents on market days.
